What does your 5 month's napping look like?

Help... our napping has gone to pot. I dunno if its a combination of the sleep regression/ teething or what..

In the morning we sometimes manage an hour.

Afternoon, i find this easiest time to get him to nap, prob another hour after lunch feed. Then sometimes he will nod off for 30 mins just before teatime feed.

evening- nothing, he does look really tired and normally by the time he goes to bed at 8pm ish he is really grouchy.

does he need another nap after his teatime bottle?

Freya tends to have an 1hour-90 minutes in the morning then 45mins-1hour in the afternoon then a 40minute nap about 4.30. She's in bed for 6.30-7pm. I know my sister always tried to keep my niece up for quite a while before bed but this doesn't work for us and Freya usually wants to go to bed about an hour or so after her last nap so maybe try fitting another nap in. x

I'm a bit confused on naps as well. My lo only wants 2 anymore... She gets up around 7, naps around 9 for 2 hours then naps again around 3pm for anywhere from 30 mins to 2 more hours. She ends up back in bed at 6pm because she's so tired. She's been getting up a lot at night lately too when she never used to.

My lo has a 30 min nap every 2 hours on the dot. I'd love it if he would have less but longer naps but I get what I'm given! Lol x

My baby has a few naps throughout the day - I'd say an hour in the morning, and maybe 20 minutes every couple of hours.

Then she stays awake til about midnight and sleeps right through to 8.00am.

How do I get her to go to sleep at a 'normal' bedtime? Those of you whose babies go to bed at that time - do they sleep right through?

My LO's naps are horrendous! She fights sleep and will rarely give in for a nap. On a good day, she will have a 30 min nap (after 30 mins of trying to get her to sleep) about 2/3pm hours after getting up in the morning. Then she will have a nap about 4/5pm and I have to wake her up after 2 hours. Some days she is absolutely shattered but will not nap. She will sleep in her pram or in the car but as soon as we stop moving she will wake up, she is a very light sleeper.

Generally LO will be awake for 2hrs then nap for 40mins until he starts bedtime routine at 7pm and asleep by 8pm sometimes I think he needs longer naps, but I just cant get him past that 40min length!

LO quite often has a nap at 6.15pm ish, even tho his bedtime routine starts at 7pm. He'd be too tired otherwise.
