My LO was the same for the first four weeks. I'd have to wait til she was properly asleep before I could put her in her basket else she'd wake up and the whole cycle started again. I propped myself up with pillows a few nights and slept with her on my chest. I think when they hit about 6 weeks they get better at sleeping in their own beds. Enjoy the cuddles though, she hates lying on her tummy now and won't sleep on my chest anymore x x
