working from home

Hiya

Okay so in june I have to go back to work. I used to work 37 hours over 5 days but am hoping to go back for 3 days and the min hours I can afford to work is 27, I get 7.54 per hour. I would love to do a job where I can work from home but there is nothing i can find. I dont drive so cant really do other peoples ironing etc. I currently work as a medical records clerk and also have experience in customer service, purchasing, counting cash at alton towers amongst other things. I dont drive so avon etc wpuld be awkward as I have done before.

Anyone have ideas of what I could do to work from home permanent or to earn a bit of extra cash.

Thanks!

Could you go back to work for less hours but supplement your income doing something like Avon/Ann Summers/Virgin Vie?

If you were doing Avon you could take lo out and about with you Xx

Aww that's a shame

Have you worked out what tax credits you will get working the less hours? They might help a little.

I'm sorry, I'm hopeless lol! I'm going back part time too and we'll be bringing in much less than we're used to so it's gonna be hard xx

Hi hulahoop, I remember in another thread you were interested in childminding, were you still looking into this? I'm in the middle of registering and really enjoying it.

What are you like with making things? Such as home made cards, unusual little gifts, cakes? Ive seen loads of businesses set up at home on sites such as facebook, it seems like they make quite a bit as once they start to become known they get loads of requests

Hoya I work from home but I work for a global organisation and everything is virtual,

But I have come across being virtual pa/assistants if you googl this there is sites where people are looking for someone to type monitor email etc which can all be done virtually so that might be an option?

Otherwise look for jobs at bigger companies most have the flexibility of working from home

Good luck
