I'm shocked but thought so sweet.

This just melted my heart. Yesterday I was talking to my mom on the phone while she was over at my brother's house playing with the kids. I have a now almost 2 year old nephew that I have only seen once when he was 13 months old. But while I was there he was my little buddy. He loved playing with me. Probably because I did a lot of airplane with him LOL.

I am going to be going to visit again in May and figured that he wouldn't have an idea of who I am again because have only seen him once. I got quite a surprise though.

while I was talking to my mom my brother asked who it was and she told him it was me, then out of nowhere my little nephew gets all excited and starts asking Aunt (my name). None of us could believe that he would remember who I was nor get as excited as he was.

Totally pointless thread I know but it just melted my heart, since I've felt horrible that I haven't been able to be around him much and still have another nephew that will be almost a year and I haven't met yet. I just thought it was so sweet.

That's so sweet. I haven't seen my nephew since he was two and he's turning four next month. I worry that he's forgotten about me, but this gives me hope.
