Why my baby crying? :( .........

Hi,

My dd cries (actually its like high pitched screaming) at the sound of another baby crying. She has been around other babies since birth so its not like the sound of another cry is a new sound to her. It takes alot of soothing to try and settle her when she does this and is that loud she normally shocks the other baby into not crying anymore

Im wanting to take her to a babybuddie group near my home soon and really dont want to be there with a screaming baby everytime another baby makes a noise

Anybody ever experienced this?

K

xx

My LO saw his 8 month old cousin for the first time Saturday and when he cried it set my LO off as well, they made each other cry for a few minutes but once both were soothed and ok, they did not set each other off again, even if one started to cry. So is this only at the beginning or does she keep crying throughout?

Yes my LO is the same his lip drops as soon as he hears another baby, if they raise their voice or even worse cry he literally sobs his heart out, real tears and everything

We went to a baby group once and left early, never again! Hopefully its just a phase and they grow out of it soon.

oh no!! my LO cries n screams for a good ten minutes, stops, looks around and then starts again! Yesterday we were visiting family and their LO is just over a year old, she didnt even cry was more of a loudish whimper and then that was it, my LO threw her head back, high pitched screaming and real tears! I had to walk outside with her until she eventually stopped.

Im praying this is just a phase.

My LO once started crying when she heard herself crying on a video we'd taken of her!

I think its pretty normal for them to cry when other babies are crying. When we used to go to baby massage class, if one baby started crying (usually mine lol) they'd all start crying one by one!
