BLW at 4 months??

Leo is just 4 months, and for the past couple of weeks has been taking a real interest in us eating. A couple if days ago he was grabbing at my toast....so this morning I put a piece of toast in front of him, and he nommed it straight away.

I really want to do BLW, and I know its from 6 months, do I let him keep trying food or is he too young?
Do I just stick to milk for now?

I dont know much about BLW but I know that 4 months is too young to start, a 4 month old should not be eating toast and I think ifbyou want to wean now you need to think more about TW instead.
It took my baby a little while to understand eating and food tr didn't just pick up food and eat it all straight away.
I'm sure other ladies who know more will give you more advice x

u can wean at 4 months but not BLW.you can use puree but start with baby rice then move onto other puree but theres alot of things they tell u not to gove b4 4months like meat spagghetti etc by a weaning book and read it cover to cover before u give LO anything x

I believe weaning of any kind should not be started until at least 17 weeks and with the advice of a healthcare professional. I don't think toast is really appropriate at 4 months sorry

I wondered about blw earlier too. LO has done things like sucked an apple and a slice of cucumber with me holding them and I instinctively seem to want to give her food rather than mush but not sure we can hold out another 8 weeks so will probably end up pureeing a bit first. Would love to give her a carrot stick to play with and chew on but hey ho x
