Thank you ladies, my LO is getting bored of his play gym and doesn't like the walking / wobbling thing ( i have no idea what its called) I bought second hand I thought a swing might occupy him and be a place to nap as well but I may not bother. Any other ideas?

Jumperoo.

If you have a tree in your backyard get a baby swing.

Let him sit in a high chair and watch you. - My LO could care less if she is actually playing, she just wants to hang out and watch me go about every day life. She thinks me cooking is hilarious!

We got the mas and papas starlight swing. He loves it and slept well in the swing. But all of a sudden he doesn't like it. He's 9 weeks. I noticed your lo is 4 months , a lot of the swings are only suitable until 6 months x

I might be getting one for Evelyn. She is a small baby and would probably get a bit of a longer use out of it. I am still not quite sure though. It is $115 dollars for the one that I want and I am not sure if we have enough room in our apartment for it. Husband and I were talking it over and we are still undecided.

My nieces and nephews loved their swings though! It was a great way to soothe them when nothing else would. They would fall straight asleep in the swings.

This is the one we were thinking of getting.

Everyone's different, my lo loves her little rocker/baby chair so the swing doesn't do much for her. It's nice to have just for a change of scenery now and then for her but I wouldn't miss it if we didn't have it. If it's cheap, go for it.

TBH I never bothered with one, seams like a lot of money for something they only use for a few months. Iv also seen so many posts from mums asking for advice because there baby's would only go to sleep in the swing but they were too big for it.

If your struggling with naps try getting a decent carrier, similar concept but it takes years before they grow out of it.
