Travelling to turkey with 8 month old?

We are off to turkey in may and our baby will be 8 months by then. I have a couple of questions if anyone can help?

1) do you use tap water boiled to make the bottles up or use bottled water?

2) has anyone used the steriliser bags instead of taking the steriliser with you?

Thanks x x

We were on holiday a few times abroad while I was off on maternity with our first LO.

I wouldnt drink tap water abroad, boiled or not, so I didnt offer it to LO. I bought bottled water, no need to boil it unless its for making bottles of milk.

You can stop sterilising at 6 months - so no need to worry about that!

Enjoy your hols!

Oohh whereabouts in Turkey are you going ?. I lived in Fethiye for a few years.

You can't drink the tap water over there but you can get bottled water everywhere (make sure you check the seal as there are some schmucks that will try to sell you refilled bottles). I have used the sterilising bags and they worked okay (we used them over here) just make sure you have plenty !!.

Enjoy your hols .. ohh i wish i was going back
