Me! Baby robbed me a bit when I was preg, he ended up 8lbs and I left hospital 6lbs lighter than pre-preg.

Been bf-ing for nearly 11 weeks now so haven't managed to put any on yet but need to as my BMI shows me underweight and most clothes too big

Yes, about 7 pounds lighter than when I got pregnant, and 2 pounds below my 'normal' weight. I'm sure it's the breast feeding because ive gone to the gym twice since LO was born 7 months ago.

No! I lost about a stone in 1st tri had mornin sickness bad, n I gained about 10lb of it back thruout the rest of pregnancy, then I had him n I havnt stopped eatin just breastfeedin!

It's so different than after dd I hardly lost any n most was still on when I fell pregnant again so that's all the weight iv lost! I had everyone tellin me it wasn't healthy n thinkin I wasn't eatin but it really was just fallin off although now it seems to have come to standstill x

I'm so jealous.. LO is 8 weeks, i'm breastfeeding but still 2 stone heavier. It's so depressing. You guys are so lucky!

I've read that some women that breastfeed lose very quickly while others retain the fat BUT will lose pounds 6 months into breastfeeding. The fat in our milk increases as our LOs get older, which leads to more energy expenditure on our part.

Also, I think it depends on the woman's metabolism, possible hypothyroidism, history of PCOS, insulin resistance, diabetes type II, muscle to fat ratio, age, and etc. Breastfeeding is wonderful though, isn't it?

I gained 65 lbs and lost it all. My LO is only 15 weeks. My only exercise is babywearing while doing the dishes/laundry. I do count my calories though...I try not to go over 2200/day. I think the majority of my weight loss was fluids though. I had the fattest cankles

I gained 40lbs when pregnant. I was back to pre-pregnancy weight at 3 months after delivery. Now at 6 months I am 15lbs below my pre-pregnancy weight. I am not trying to lose at all, it just keeps falling off! Yay breastfeeding (and being too busy to eat!)

I was the same. I weighed 210 lbs pre pregnancy, ballooned up to 240, and then a few weeks after having her I was down to 185 and have been there-ish ever since. Yay breast feeding! Lol.

Me! Before I got pregnant I weighed 170. I dropped down to 150 during pregnancy (from morning sickness etc.) At the end of pregnancy I was back up to 170. Now I am 159. Breastfeeding. Didn't do anything else to loose weight. I do go for walks to help me tone up but that has never helped me to loose weight in the past.
