What!!!!

Sometimes I wonder if I am a bit over the top, am a bit scared when my 2years+2month old daughter goes down a chute!!!

Thay seems wayy too young!
I still guide jacob down most of the time, or i at least make sure i can gtab him at a split second as his legs tuck underneath him half way down sometimes.

My lo had her first slide experience on Sunday but I kept a tight grip around her waist she was prob thinking "god mum just let me go!" lol
What benefit is that to a 5 week old?? Yeah they are prob in no real danger, it just seems pointless?!

No not at 5 weeks old would I do that. I wouldn't do that now at 19 weeks and 20lbs. I guess they know their baby best but it seems highly inappropriate on the description you have given.

My DS is 14 months and he hasn't even gone down a slide on his own, he sits on my lap or I put him at the top and hold him while he goes down.
