I've felt his gums and can't feel any bumps yet. I think it will still be a while until we see any teeth poking through. I'm not really looking forward to teeth, my mom tells me it's real fun when teeth come through and they start nibbling while nursing. Although, I am SO excited to start feeding real food to my LO!

We've got 2 bottom teeth that have cut through and I feel more bumps, the teething is awfully stressful for LO and for me lol but I could see his teeth for ages before they came through, I think it's normal

Our son is only 4 months old and has the misfortune to be cutting his molars! It's quite rare for a baby to cut his molars first and it is very painful for the poor little guy.

my lo has 2 bottom teeth through but i only saw the tips of them under the gum about a week before they popped. He got them thru at 5 months but no more since. Its weird to think they have all the teeth fully formed under their gums just waiting to break through xxx

They don't need teeth to eat. We do BLW (self feeding) with lo and he is eating every thing we are eating. He had Tai yesterday (prawns with noodles) and loved it.

Could you actually feel/see then before they cut through? I can see and feel 2 huge molars on the bottom gum, but I don't know if that means they will cut first.

We did/do BLW too and LO didn't have any teeth until 13 months and you'd be amazed at what they can eat with no teeth - those gums are pretty hard! Btw she has 6 teeth now

They weren't visible at all that I know of, until he started to exhibit all the teething symptoms. It's kind of hard to see into the back of his mouth, but the little white corners are just barely up through the gum. Gripe water is the only thing really helping him now.
