Graco carrycot, anyone have one? Cleaning help!

Hiya!

I have just got my Graco carry cot out that came with my graco travel system, tho I believe it also comes with the 'I love my bear' travel system in Toysrus.

I have misplaced the instuctions for the pushchair and I want to 'freshen up' the carrycot. Any ideas how I would do this???

There is some velcro in places so it looks as if I may be able to put it on a delicate wash in the machine! But i don't want to destroy it! Also I know that sometimes it's easy to take these covers off but a mission to get them back on again lol

If all else fails would it be possible to have it dry cleaned do you think????

I'm so clueless when it come to washing these sorts of things!

What material is it made from? I have the Graco Symbio travel system and the fabric is like a woven material like the ones they make pram hoods from. I'd just give that a wipe with a damp cloth.

If it's not actually visibly dirty I would leave it outside next time there's decent weather and let the air freshen it up.

I have it! How dirty is it? I'd think it would lose shape etc if machine washed so its best to just wipe with a cloth and maybe use a spray after like febreeze just to freshen it! x

Is it the soft one like a bag that clips into the pushchair? If it is you take out the wedge and the back board by undoing the Velcro bits on the bottom and You can put it in the machine, mines got a label on it but it's in the car boot at the mo, I can check tomorrow and post on here, it came out in great condition though.

Thanks for all of the replies!

It's kind of soft material, like suede but not. Feels lovely but I worry about cleaning it lol

I managed to find the instruction manual for the pushchair online and realised that the back board etc comes out! So I've taken that out and I put it on a delicate wash in the machine late last night. It looks fine!

It's not shrunk or out of shape and the colour and feel is the same! Very impressed!

Thanks again for the help

You ladies on here are so helpful
