This is very normal. My suggestion would be to just let her do it for now. She has discovered it as something new and it will pass. Or you can try to encourage her to play with something else. I have glasses and I can't tell you how many times LO has tried to pull them off my face.

Freya still does this at 9 months! Just before christmas, I has that many scratches on my face I looked like I'd gone 10 rounds with the neighbourhood cat! x

I love when he does this. We make it a game where I try to eat his fingers.
Now the head butting, got to stop. I have a fat lip right now from a well placed head butt

I got a gouge on my face on Friday from Avery and her claws. You'd think I'd have learned to keep her nails trimmed!

Trimmed nails don't help, I've learned that one from personal experience LOL. One morning I trimmed LO's nails during her bottle. Came home from work that afternoon was holding LO and ended up with a big scratch right down the middle of my face. They can still get ya.

Oooh, the slapping - thats a whole new level! Freya likes to put her little hands "lovingly" on my face, and stroke my cheek, and then, just when I'm thinking "Ah, isn't my little girl soooo gorgeous......BAM! A good ole slap round the chops!

my baby beats me up too

our biggest thing at the moment is the hair pulling but today he hit himself with his toy and then cried, so I picked him up to comfort him and he promptly got a good grab of my cheek, it was so hard I'm still feeling it now.
