This is very normal. My suggestion would be to just let her do it for now. She has discovered it as something new and it will pass. Or you can try to encourage her to play with something else. I have glasses and I can't tell you how many times LO has tried to pull them off my face.
I got a gouge on my face on Friday from Avery and her claws. You'd think I'd have learned to keep her nails trimmed!
Trimmed nails don't help, I've learned that one from personal experience LOL. One morning I trimmed LO's nails during her bottle. Came home from work that afternoon was holding LO and ended up with a big scratch right down the middle of my face. They can still get ya.
awww. Yeah, wait until she gets older and then the slapping begins!
Oooh, the slapping - thats a whole new level! Freya likes to put her little hands "lovingly" on my face, and stroke my cheek, and then, just when I'm thinking "Ah, isn't my little girl soooo gorgeous......BAM! A good ole slap round the chops!
oh yes this sounds very familiar. we have also had the slapping, but thats more so on limbs rather than on faces lol. i keep telling him no when he takes my glasses off though or try and distract him - i really need to get used to wearing contacts again!
our biggest thing at the moment is the hair pulling but today he hit himself with his toy and then cried, so I picked him up to comfort him and he promptly got a good grab of my cheek, it was so hard I'm still feeling it now.
