Need some advice on feeding LO

Wether or not to drop her last feed...

So to give some back ground, she has a pretty good routine of feeding, every 3-4 hours n usually at set times. She has a feed at 7pm of 4oz which is a full feed for her, she'll then sleep at around 8pm n wont wake up, like its a full on sleep not a nap lol. me n OH will go up at around 10pm n ill offer LO her last feed, well usually she'd wake up or scream blue bloody murder for her bottle at 10 lol, but just lately, maybe 4-5 days now, she's stayed asleep and we literally have to try n wake her to give her that 10pm feed n she only takes like 2oz at a push n it takes around half an hour for her just to take that. She'll then wake at about 2-2.30am n again at 6-6.30am.

So my question is, if she really isnt interested in that 10pm feed do i feed her at say 8pm instead with the risk of she may wake at 12 n again at 4?? Once a night to wake up i enough for me lol so twice wud kill me as im up at 6 every morning anyway.

Some advice would be great on how to go about this

Personally, I would drop it and just feed on demand. My LO normally feeds every 4 hours but sometimes in the evening she will go from 10pm - 6am without a feed and then has a bigger bottle in the morning.

This is exactly how my LO started to sleep longer. She stopped weakening for the 11pm feed (we feed 3hrly roughly).

She would wake at maybe 2 but this slowly got longer and longer.

My approach has always been just to feed her when she wants overnight and she will start to go longer periods.

So we tried out a new routine n well lets say its not worked out the way i wanted it to lol

She feeds at around 4pm n has 4 1/2oz n then will stay awake for 2 hours then fall asleep around 7 till about 9-9.30 n has a 5oz bottle. we'll put her to bed after which is around 10pm n she'll wake up at 1-1.30 for a feed n then again at 5, i then get up at 6.30 as my oldest wakes up then. im soo tired now, shes gone from just 1 night feed to 2 n ive only adjusted her last feed by half an hour now wot do i do lol

Continue to feed on demand! Your LO is doing amazing to only wake twice in the night at such a young age, mine wakes more than that at 6 months! Xx

Tbh I don't think that sleep is bad at all for a Baby of that age. My son is 3 months old and if i could consistently get nights like that I'd be one happy mummy!!

Her change might have nothing to do with changing her feeding time by half an hour, from what ive seen with my son you just can't predict it! He'll sleep really well for a few days, maybe waking twice. Then he'll wake every hour from 10pm for a week!

Personally I think if you let your baby feed through the night when she wants to, she'll start to stretch out the feeds on her own when she's ready. But you could always go back to how you were doing it for a few days to see if her sleeping goes back to wha it was?

Hey

How are you ITS BEEN AGES!
I would drop the feed if i was u! One night Kendra had a feed at 10.30pm than slept till 6am i woke up expecting to feed her at around 2ish and honestly she went till 6am without a feed sleeping, i didnt wake her up i took this op to SLEEP! Tho its never happened again back to waking up every 3-4 hours! But if she sleeps i wouldnt wake her for a feed!

xxxx
