when do babies start smiling at you

my baby is almost 6 weeks and although he smiles to himself in his sleep he hasnt smiled in response to something yet.

he always looks pissed or has a "whatever" look on his face when hes awake

Kenneth's first real smile was at 5 weeks, it's supposed to happen before 8 weeks though so don't worry!

Mine smiled at 3 and a half weeks and then it was only about one smile per week until about 5 weeks and then I had to work really hard for them! I'm sure it won't be long.

Then when you get that smile you can start wondering when you'll get a giggle

He smiled randomly the first week he was home, but he started smiling in response to something at 7 weeks and hasn't stopped! He can even make strangers laugh at the grocery store with his hilarious full body smile haha

LO smiled randomly at 5weeks, from about 7weeks we could make him smile, last week he started giggling which is the cutest thing ever, but he doesn't do that very often at the min x
