Lo sleeps with his eyes open!

My ds slept with his eyes a tiny bit open when ge was born, but he seems to be opening them wider and wider as tge weeks go by. Anyone have any experience of this. Do you shut them for him/ her? I do close them. But when I check on him again, they are open again.
Thanks

hmmm. I don't have any advice really but whenever my sons eyes are open a little while I'm putting him to sleep, I try lightly blowing on them so he shuts them himself, or bounce him a bit until he shuts them.
I think some babies do sleep with their eyes open though, I'm not sure though!

My lo still does this quite a lot and it still freaks me out! I usually try and close them, sometimes it works and sometimes he opens them again. Once hes in a deep sleep though they always close xx

My sons all did this, Jamie still does but the elder 2 grew out of it at about 2. i don't try to shut Jamie's eyes, mostly because in a few seconds they are half open again anyway! Unnerving isn't it lol

It freaks me out too. Plus sometimes it's hard to tell if he's still awake or gone to sleep.
