Anyone else's lo - blanket over face!

Hiya

Okay so my lo loves having he blanket over her face and has done from the start! In the early days sometimes the only way I could get her to sleep was holding her in my arms and putting a blanket over my shoulder and over her completely covering her. And as she has got older this has become more of a comfort for her. She sometimes goes to sleep as above if struggling to sleep because of teething etc or if we put her in her moses basket or pram etc we have to put the blanket over her face and she will go off to sleep eventually or you tuck it under her arms etc then check and she has pulled it over her face and gone off to sleep!!!

When she is in the pram she sometimes sleeps like this when we are out and about and I have had my sister and cousin saying oh no I wouldnt let my lo sleep like that etc etc.

I constantly check on her and I also use a lot of cellular blankets for the reason that she puts them over her face! Does anyone else's lo like sleeping like this?!! I am happy to let her sleep like it if it comforts her.

xx

Summer always did that and I used to panic so I put her in a sleeping bag instead and put a comfort toy by her cheek and as soon as she nodded off I took the toy away.

I bought my lo a comforter type thing (head amd arms of a bear on a small blanket) and he pulls it up over his face to go to sleep! If someone was to move it he would wake up! Though through the night at some point he moves it off his face! I got it in mothercare, maybe hav a look and try one of these as they are light and easy for them to move if they need to

I'm trying to get my daughter attached to one of those mini blankets with heads

She likes to sleep on her side with my hand or arm pulled in close to her chest. So cute! But hard to get out of when she's fallen asleep and I need to move around.

I was just trying to find out when it's safe to use one of those in the cot but I can't find a definitive answer. I think she'll be fine because she has no problems manipulating toys.
