some advice please

My 9 month old boy has had a cold the last week or so and has been very congested. On Monday he woke up normally had half of his morning bottle then projectile vomited the whole thing. I cleaned him up and gave him a little more as he was still hungry. He was sick after each meal that day so on Tuesday I took him to gp who checked him and said he was ok no chest infection etc and just feed little and often. So have been trying that but he has been sick on and off. Thought we had a breakthrough today, he had a decent lunch and dinner then his last bottle if the day he was really sick again. Rationally, I think his stomach is delicate and can't handle too much but being hungry he eats too much and up it comes, silly mummy for letting him! But paranoid mummy is worried. I've taken him back to gp and she says he's fine and doesn't think its a bug as he's not got diarrhoea, no fever etc. wondering if anyone has any experience with this. Thanks for reading, sorry For misspelling ,.typing on phome

My DS did this - having never been a sicky baby - it was snot on the tummy which prompted a lot of it. He also is sometimes a bit sicky with teething - drool on the tummy I suppose.

If they seem happy enough and are still gaining weight and the doctor says all is fine I wouldn't worry

Thanks, good to know someone else has gone through something similar. I've been thinking he was teething although been thinking that for 6 months and still no teeth! Maybe a double whammy poor little thing. Can I ask how long it lasted for your ds and if there was Sherrington did to help him get through it.

My LO had this this last weekend. His (projectile) sick was full of snot and then i had the worst nappy i had ever seen, poo in snot!
It lasted 3 days and he's now back to normal.
We had two trips to the doctor which found nothing, they said it was gastro-enteritis. I think it started cos of the excessive snot. Poor LO.
Hope yours gets better soon,

Sounds about right Lilli, we're day there today and was fine until he ate a big dinner then vomiting again. I'll calm it down tomorrow.
