Totally baby led but generally
Up about 7/7:30 then nap about 9ish for 20-45 mins.
Normally head out after that nap or if she doesn't want to nap then we will head out about 9ish to playgroup/friends house/the shops/park for a couple hours and she will sleep in tge sling.
Then feed every 1-4 hours during the day and naps after 2 hours awake, but sometimes she has a sleepy day and wants loads of short naps, others she's happy being up for ages!
Asleep and in bed 7ish, up once or twice a night.

I'm another that is completely baby led..

Generally wake around 7:30 when daddy gets up for work and has boob then back to sleep
Up for the day between 9 and 12 (completely varies)
Another nap around 2 pm for 1/2 hour
Up and playing/ eating every 1.5 hours
Another nap around 6 for 1/2 hour
Up and playing/ eating until 9 pm
Nap 1 hour between 9 and 10
Bed around midnight and she doesn't wake to eat until 7:30 or so (on weekends when OH's alarm doesn't wake her, she sleeps until 9 or 10)

Is there a reason you want longer wake time and less naps?

I'm selfish and want to play with him more Other than his longer stretch in the afternoon, he's only awake for about 1hr. 15min. Plus it would make it a little easier to work around 3 naps, rather than 4. Just wish his naps were longer than 45 min., so maybe we could drop that 4th one. I'm still going to continue to be baby led, but wasn't sure if there was something I could do that might help him start taking longer naps and wanting to be up for longer times.

I understand I wasn't sure if you were working or if it was a daycare issue or something, in which case obviously it was a bigger deal to try and work something out. Are you doing anything to encourage napping (nursing to sleep, putting down in swing, ect) or is LO just falling asleep doing whatever you're doing? I haven't tried it but I would guess if you kept playing for a little extra while, LO will stay awake and if you stretch out the wake times by playing you could maybe get down to 3.

Tommy has colic and silent reflux and is generally very unsettled. He sleeps from 11pm until 8:30am with a feed at 3am and 6 am. Once he is up though he doesn't have a single nap during the day. My daughter used to be like clockwork at his age, asleep two hours then awake two hours, but Tommy might have a couple of 5 minute cat naps during the day and that's all. He is breastfed on demand, usually every 3ish hours. He is bathed every other evening but then doesn't go to bed until we do as he won't settle without us. He has short spells of smiling and playing during the day but can cry for up to 13 hours a day due to the colic and reflux.

He goes down in his crib if we're home, pack-n-play if we're somewhere else, or carseat if we're on the go. He's pretty flexible where he sleeps, but if we're home (which we are most the time) I usually rock him or if he's tired before a feeding, then feed him his bottle and rock him. He's been getting much better and goes down rather easy, he just doesn't sleep more than one cycle at any given time during the day.

Our LO wakes up anywhere between 8:30 and 10am BFs and then plays on his play mat for an hour or so.. then if he's really tired (and daddy's home to hold him lol) he'll have a nap around lunch time.. if he slept in or daddy's at work then he won't nap til around 1/2pm. During the day he'll only nap on us or in his car seat or stroller.

He'll BF and play in the afternoon or if we go out on errands he'll try to nap for a short time but he's not been fun to go out with lately I try to go out every afternoon or else the day feels long but he's been crying when we go out so I try to go out with my OH or Mom He's fussy between 4-7 and will pass out for a short time while BFing. Then he cluster feeds still in the evening and has been going to sleep around 11pm.. I'm trying to bring it earlier and the last couple nights I've got him to sleep by 10:30. For the past 3 weeks he's only been getting up for one feed around 5/6am.

We bath him in the mornings a few times a week...

Overall we're baby-led so he BFs when he wants and he naps when he wants.. it would be nice if he would nap more during the day (in his crib or longer in his car seat!) but I do like that he sleeps well at night

I love reading about other people's routines! I am jealous of everyone with a late waking baby too. I would say that I am in the minority of being mainly parent-led - although I do feed on demand etc if bub is hungry. My bub can rarely be awake for more than 90 mins and gets very cranky with not enough sleep. She is 15 weeks old.

Here is our 'routine' for the past few days -

5am - wake for a feed and back into cot. Falls asleep again until around 6.45am
6.45am - Up for the day. Top up feed if bub wants it and play.
8am or 830 ish - nap. She usually has around 80 mins either in one block or she may wake up in between and go back to sleep. She generally self settles after 15 or so minutes.
1045 -11 - Feed and play
12 or 1230 - Nap - we usually go out during this time and she will sleep for hours in the pram.
3pm - Feed and play
4.30 pm - Short nap of around 45 mins
5.15 - bed routine starts with bath
6.15pm - into bedroom with bottle, quiet song and rock and asleep by 6.45 usually.

She hasn't woken up for the past few nights to feed and didn't even wake for a dummy last night! I am not counting my chickens though.

Do you always put LO down for naps at the same time every day?

Nope because for awhile her nights were a bit hit and miss so her wakeup times varied. I have been trying to get her into a routine with her days starting at 7 so that eventually her naps will be at the same time. I used to get her up at 5 (or whatever other ungodly hour) for the day if she woke but now if it's before about 630, I feed and put back into the cot.

She has also been catnapping for awhile during the day. I've discovered a new way of wrapping her which extends her naps but not always to the length I think she needs. Ideally she seems to be at her happiest with three naps - 2 x 2 hr naps and a small nap in the afternoon.
