Thanks for all the advice

I called the GP surgery this morning and they told me there were no appointments, I demanded to be seen though lol and was told to come and wait all morning until someone was free.

We saw the nurse practitioner who said she thinks it *is* a bruise but because we've been with him the whole time and he's not bashed it at all she said she didn't think it was caused by trauma.. she said sometimes a blood vessel beneath the skin can spontaneously rupture and lead to a random bruise. She said she thoughtit was most likely to be that because he'd had it in the same place before.

I've never heard of that happening before but she did say it was common and nothingto worry about... Anyone heard of spontaneous bursting of blood vessels before??

Thanks again for the input xx

Hmmm, MILs friend has a baby girl and she gets random marks appear all over, like bruises, every now and then because her veins leak sometimes. I don't know much more about it though, so I'm probably not much help!

Hmmmm I'm not convinced by that personally! I'm no doctor, my husband is a vet and I just told him about it and he said that if it was an animal he would be running bloods - haematology, platelet count, coagulation times etc

Is there anyone in the family with any blood disorders?

Really hope I'm not worrying you - he is a vet not a doctor! But I would be wanting to see a doctor about this or potentially asked to be referred.

It could all be nothing but I would want to be 100% sure it was nothing if you know what I mean! xx
