You have a strong little baby! My LO is six weeks and the other day I tried to pull her up from sitting to standing and she went right along. She can bear every ounce of her weight on her legs but she is WAY too wobbly to hold herself up like yours can! I had to hold both her hands. I def agree with Floralaura, your LO could be an early walker! She looks so proud of herself haha. Adorable!

What a clever boy!!

Tabby was 6 weeks old when she first took her own weight and at 12 weeks could stand holding onto a sofa for support.

Paige could stand against a sofa etc just before 5 months. I never tried before then! She wanted to be on her feet ALL the time, and she never crawled until 9 1/2 months... but then she was walking the day she turned 10 months... DOh! You may have yourself a little monkey too! :P

Its been disproven that standing early causes bow legs.

I never tried to stand her up, she pushed herself out of my arms and off the sofa! I expected her to collapse but she didn't! She loves holding onto our hands and 'walking' too! She's always preferred being sat or upright though! I am a little annoyed, as well as proud, that she kicked me off the sofa earlier! DH sat her next to me and she threw herself to the side so she wedged herself behind me and then sat up quite pleased with herself! I think we have a little mischief maker on our hands!
