Do you ever let your LO nap for - Page 2

Not very often but only coz she is so good I can quite easily take her out and put her in her basket and she will either stay sleeping or will drop back off really quick.
My doctor did tell me she could sleep in her car seat though as she has a slight respiratory infection. I have been putting her in her bouncer though as she is slightly less scrunched up in that x x

If i put her in the car seat in the house she crys!

But when were out in the car she always falls asleep it really settles her

I'll let him sleep in it while were out. When we get home and he's asleep he won't stay in there for long. He prefers his bouncer or his rock and play!

Yes. I follow the rule that you never wake a sleeping baby. And it does them no harm. My brothers second baby didn't sleep anywhere but his car seat. And believe me they tried. They asked 3 different doctors and all of them said it was perfectly fine. and one of them said that they did the same for thier baby.

Yep, if we're out running errands he usually falls asleep.. he went through a bad few weeks where he wouldn't stay asleep even if we were out, but I took out the winter cozy bag thing and he's been happy in there ever since! If we're out for a few couple hours and he happens to fall asleep, he stays in the car seat.. the odd time when we've come home from running errands he'll stay asleep in the car seat for an hour or so, but usually he wakes up as soon as we walk in the door lol. I don't have a problem letting him sleep in there, to me they're the same shape as those swings etc. and babies sleep in those all the time!

If he's awake though, he usually doesn't like to be in the car seat so it's not something we've put him in for naps at home

Oh for sure, if he's asleep when we get home I'm not going to mess with it!
I believe waking a sleeping baby is like waking a sleeping dog.

My 3 month old will sleep almost the entire time were out and about. I usually don't put him in his car seat to sleep while we're at home though. He would much rather sleep on me, or in the bed anyway, and I imagine it would be uncomfortable sleeping in a car seat so much.
