My baby boy can be very sickly sometimes... he is now draining 7oz bottles and is 10 weeks old (my little chubbs)... I spoke to my hv as was concerned, and her words were 'he is putting on weight well, he does not seem unwell, he is just a hungry baby who then decides after he has eaten he didnt quite want that much. I do try to give him less... but he gets very upset - so I just deal with the sick now. Some days are better than others, but as long as kendra is putting on weight well, and doesnt seem poorly or fussy I would just go with it...

:-) xx

No problem. Alex showed all the obvious symptoms:

Sickness after or during feeds
Arching the back in pain during or after feeds
Crying when laid flat (we had to elevate his mattress at the top to lay him at an angle)
Coughing/choking during or after feeds

We started with gaviscon (to thicken the milk) and ranitidine (to ease the burning feeling of the reflux). I changed him onto comfort milk so stopped the gaviscon. Ranitidine didn't work for us so now Alex is on the highest dose of omeprazole.

Do you FF?
It might be as simple as switching the type of formula she's eating. Who knows, maybe it's a lactose allergy or something...
I've heard so many success stories from mommies who switched to similac alimentum.

Oscar was doing that, at first it didn't seem to bother him but then he started crying and fussing whilst drinking his milk. He was diagnosed with reflux last week and has been prescribed infant gaviscon, he's hardly ever sick now and drinks his milk fine.

It could be overfeeding though, some babies like to comfort suck so perhaps give her a dummy?

X
