My LO is 10 months, and just under 17lbs.. :/
All babies have their own rate. If the doctor isnt concerned, I dont think you should be. Just be very clear and thorough at every health visit, and as long as the doc is well-informed and attentive, no reason to worry.
My LO is almost 7 months and is 20lbs strictly breast milk. Everyone says she is a chunk, but I think she is fine. My oldest was only 19lbs at a year old and is still skinny as a stick, so like the other ladies said I won't worry , as long as he is happy and doctors aren't worried, it sounds like he is doing great.
Lily was 13lbs at 8 mths. She was a preemie though and only weighed 4lbs 2 ozs at birth. I wouldn't worry, like everyone said your guy was smaller at birth and all babies grow at their own pace. Oh, and Lily isn't taking to solids either. If I'm lucky I get one meal a day in her, the rest is on the kitchen floor!
10 days away from 8 month, and my lo weight 17.7 lbs
He is on 3 meals a day + 4 bottles. But he usually doesn't eat anything at lunch. Also we do BLW. He started gaining weight better after we started BLW.
