I'm moving across the country in two months, RIGHT at my LO's birthday (

)... I'm trying to plan ahead for our 7-14 hour journey.
We'll be on 2-3 planes, and I'm not sure if I could aim to book an evening flight, or a day one. I'm thinking day, so she can be alert and experience everything.. I fear she'll fight sleep if we travel during her night time hours, and that wont be fun for anyone!
Because of this move, and the weird timing, I have to put off the bigger things I wanted to buy her for her birthday. Anyone have any ideas of smaller things? Things she could be amused with on a plane? I'll be buying her a small backpack for travel (that I'll be hauling, lol) but I need toy ideas!!
Here's my notes thus far.
