This is going to sound odd but I used to make funny noises like 'ping' and 'oooops' as I cut them to distract ds and make him laugh so he didn't mind me doing them.

I just firmly hold his foot and cut them. Same with his hands. He's used to it now so he holds still a lot better!

I do it when Hollie is asleep sometimes she'll catch onto me and kick me in the face but it's all good!

First time I tried clippers I cut his finger! Ive never felt so bad as I did then! So I used a nail file instead. Now I sometimes use nail scissors as they are easier and quicker than clippers. I can sometimes do them while he is awake lol
