had the worst night ever

well last night was terrible...I was at my parents house and bathed LO got her changed and settled, put her in her pram and headed down home...well me and OH decided to watch a DVD with a chinese and LO was still sound asleep in her pram...at half 12 I went over to pick her up and take her up to her moses basket, when I looked at her she looked like a doll, and was cold to touch, I poked her to make her stir and nothing, I pushed her and nothing, I done it harder and still nothing, at this point my OH was in the room and I said shes not moving, why isnt she moving, he pushed me out of the way and gave her a firm shake and then she just casually yawned and started to wake up, I have never been so scared in all my life, she was just in a deep sleep...I couldnt stop hugging and kissing her and stayed awake all night poking her to make sure she was alright

this happened to us when daniel was 2 months old. we rang an ambulance but when they were on their way he woke up. they just explained it as being in a really really deep sleep. i still get shudders and want to cry when i think about it now

Oooh I know that horrible heart stopping moment I thought my LO had stopped breathing when she was 2 weeks old and it took me ages to wake her, the prodding and poking didn't work with her either. It's a horrible horrible feeling. Hope you feel a bit better today
