I will be slim - I WILL BE SLIM! lol

Well ladies - I'm doing it! I'm finally going to re-join the gym (it is also an aquatics center so it will be gym then swim to relax)! I have never been "skinny" and don't want to be now but I am determined to be toned and get my tummy back to how it was before I had little one

Wish me luck! (and motivation!)

Oh well done! How much do you have to lose? I can't seem to find the motivation to exercise etc. I have about 3 stones to lose to get back to pre-preg weight. lol

Best of luck hun... I'm certain you WILL do it!!!!!

My plan is to look better at 40 (I'm 38 now) than I did at 30... and so far, I'm well on my way. I've lost all but 6lbs of the "baby weight" (had 19 left to lose), and would even like to lose another 6lbs on top of that... but, only focusing on the post baby weight, for now, as not to overwhelm myself! LOL. Getting back to the gym (after my 7wk post baby hiatus) certainly helped- and I cut out sugar, as I had a mad sweet tooth while prego! hehe. And just trying to eat better and more organic in general... but gosh, it's been tough losing the last 4lbs... I've had to fight hard for each lb lost! ACK!!!!

You'll get there hun! Just stay focused and think about how FAb you'll feel when you do it!!!!

I'm 2 stone lighter than I was before being pregnant but now I have looser skin so am wanting to tone it all up...I would like to lose about 2stone but more importantly I'd like to be a size 10/12 on the bottom - I am currently a 14/16 bottom and 10/12 top so that's my goal. I decided to do it to have some "me" time 3 x a week. OH does football and I do nothing just look after LO so we decided to go Mon, Wed and Thurs 6-8pm

seoj - well done you! Keep up the good work! I'm hoping once I start seeing results it will spur me on to keep going! Plus it gets me out for a few hours looking to do 45mins gym followed by 45mins swim so fingers crossed!

For sure seeing results is what has kept me motivated. I worked REALLY hard to lose some weight prior to my pregnancy- and I kept at the gym too. So that is what spurred me on to lose the weight! LOL.

I think it's fantastic you are taking some time for yourself. It's important I feel I go to the gym 5-6 dys a week. But Tues,Wed,Thurs I wake up at 4:30AM to go before LO wakes up and hubby leaves for work. So I get the time I need but still have the evenings free when I get home. It's tough- but sometimes we just gotta do what we gotta do! hehe.

At some point, when your feeling up to it- you could also incorportate some light weights to help ton. I do weights least twice a week- and it makes me feel stronger- plus muscle helps burn fat wink wink. And it keeps your metabolism going longer too.

You can totally do it girl!!!!

BTW- Kudos for you for losing weight already! That is so great

I have made this my mantra too after today. Going out tomorrow night to a wedding do and had to buy an outfit. After having my DD, my boobs have gone up a cup size so was getting the "4 boob effect" so finally gave it and got fitted but seeing my back fat in the multiple mirrors in the changing room just made me depressed. Bring on the diet and gym!! X

Wow how on earth do you manage to get up at 4.30 for the gym? I loooove my sleep and it's a scarce commodity these days so I could never do that lol. Well done you!

And to the op, well done, pass some of your motivation my way will you?
