What do you do when you want to eat but your LO is awake? - Page 2

Without fail my LO is fast asleep when I prepare a meal and 95% of the time she's crying right when I'm about to start eating! So sometimes I nurse and eat at the same time (poor kid always has crumbs on her) or we eat one at a time (though last night OH made a delicious steak which I had been craving my whole pregnancy only to nurse at the table, eating with my wrong hand while my OH cut my steak for me!)

If your LO is content, put them down, eat and consider yourself lucky!

I put my LO in the swing if she's not asleep! orr pass her along to OH. And i usually pump(because it only takes like 5 minutes) and give it to OH to give her to her while I'm cooking!

I usually try and eat straight after a feed as this is when she loves lying on her activity mat kicking her arms and legs.
