walk by 1?

I'm just wondering as we're starting to get LO's first birthday presents (or at least the cash for them!)

She's pulling up to her knees now...

They're all different really, I have 2 friends who had their babies 2 weeks apart. One baby walked at 9 months, the other one walked at 15 months!

I think Every baby is different hun and I know a couple that still aren't walking 14months.they say around 12months is "average".i bet ur gonna b making a fabulous cake aren't u? Ive been looking through the cake making thread at ur progress from the start and WOW I'm jealous xx

'Average' age for first steps is 13 months. So not many babies are walking properly by 12 months.

Tabs has been up and cruising since 7.5 months, great on her feet when cruising, done first steps, occasionally takes a couple of steps but she isnt going to run off any time soon! Walking properly takes MONTHS! (usually)

50% of babies walk by 1 but i do know of many who dont, my friends LO didnt walk till 18mths!

My LO has been crusing for 3mths, he is charging up and down with his push along walker now so who knows?
