For ladies who formula feed...

Do you feed on demand, or on a schedule? Just curious. I'm not sure how anyone could feed on a schedule though, b/c when my LO wants to eat, he wants to eat, lol. Just curious if it's even possible to not feed on demand?????? Gracias.

We make him wait every 2 hours (at least) or else he will barely take anything, fall asleep and want more 30 minutes later. Other than that rule, no real schedule.

Since day one I fed him 3/4 hourly! If he wants it half hour early I give him it! Sometimes he might sleep a little past the 3/4 hours! But it generally stays spot on! He rarely wants it before 3 hours! Good luck xxx

We have always feed on demand but now at 10 weeks she's got herself into a sort of routine where she eats at same sort of time each day if she does want feeding at other times we just feed her.

We feed on a schedule. Every 4 hours. Maybe 15-20 minutes earlier if she's demanding food.

before solids you could set a clock by her. Fours hours on the dot. 3- if she was in a growth spurt. So i guess that would be on demand to the same time frame. Now I try to get 4 bottles into her- sometimes its 3 hourly sometimes 4 and half- its all depends on how much solids she wants.

My lo is not a milk lover, so I offer him a bottle every 3.5-4 hours. But he sometimes refuse

My LO was already in a routine when he came home from SCBU so he was on every 3 hours, then it went to every 4 hours. Sometimes he'd want his milk a bit earlier though so it was slightly on demand.

Now he just has a bottle as soon as we come downstairs in the morning and a bottle half an hour before he goes to bed.
