My LO started sleeping through right around 4months.. He sleeps from 730pm to 8am and wakes once around 4am for a bottle. Maybe that's not really sleeping through but it is 12.5hours that I get to myself! And I manage to get a 7-8 hour sleep!

Honestly though my LO was up every 2-3 hours from birth to 3 months, then it changed to 3-4 hour stretches and then one day out of nowhere he dropped 2 of his feedings and started sleeping.

Hang in there.. It slowly really does get better!!

Number one, over two years, then it was only for a few weeks, then he regressed. He only started sleeping through the night permanently after turning 3.

My LO is 2 weeks and 3 days old and he sleeps between 6-9 hrs most nights but sometimes wakes up during the night if he needs a diaper change but for the most part he sleeps right through.

I'm not sure which answer to pick lol. Lo was about 6/7 weeks and he started sleeping 7.5 hours ish. Between then and week 9 he progressed to 11 hours - longest ever was 13 hours 7.30-8.30! Then we got to 16 weeks and the sleep regression hit us absolutely terrible sleep - waking up hourly at best, half hourly at worst. It gradually started getting better at about 5 months but I was still up with him a minimum of 3 times a night. Then a miracle happened lol. He rolled onto his front in his cot at bedtime and since then has gone back to 11 hours sleep!!! you have no idea how happy I am lol that was this week so just over 6 months!

This 4 month sleep regression is scaring the pants off me atm :/ everyone I see is saying how their LO has/is going through it and how terrible it is... Do all babies go through that phase?????

My little man is still too young to be expected to sttn in my opinion... He's 6 weeks tomorrow. He doesn't do badly though. He goes to bed between 7/8pm (sometimes 9 if he's napped too much in the day) he then wakes up between 11-12am for a feed, then has 2 more feeds between 3-7am. So it's not too bad I suppose. I've gotten my evenings back so I can spend time with DH again!!! It's just waiting for him to drop his night feeds. I'd be ecstatic if he could sleep 7pm-7am! I wouldn't know what to do with myself with all that sleep lmao

XxX

No not all babies do. Ds1 never did. He started sleeping 6 hours 12-6 at 6 weeks old then just got better and better until he was sleeping 7-7 at 3 months old and still does now at 6.5 years! Even illness & teething couldn't stop him from sleeping lol x

My LO started STTN at 9 weeks (7 - 8 hours) and it gradually increased and by around 12 or 13 weeks he was sleeping 10 - 11 hours per night.

We had the 4 month sleep regression as well (where he went from 11 hours to waking up every 1 - 2 hours!) but fortunately for us it only lasted a week and a half and then he was back to his normal routine.

DS started self-settling (i.e. we could lay him down awake in his crib for naps/bedtime and he would go to sleep without fussing) at 6 months.

Don't worry... you'll get there before you know it! I can barely remember those first few months now...

She started sleeping 9-4 from about 7 weeks.
Then 8pm-5am from 9 weeks.
Then 8pm-7am from 10 weeks
And now goes 7pm-7.30am at 13 weeks - but this morning we were up at 6.30am, and yesterday at 8.30am so can't set my watch by it yet!

Am dreading the 4 month sleep regression!
