I honestly think that there is a genetic mutation that happens to old ladies when their sons have moved on and fallen in love with a woman and had a family of their own that makes them bat ass crazy and their only goal in life is to screw with their DILs lol
Mine is a gem too!

Hahahahaha! My Mom said I was born with freckles, ya right haha! I hardly have any right now even. But she also said that when she was pregnant with my sister they broke her water, but since she didnt go into labor they just sent her home for a week to wait until she did. And that nurses climbed on to the hospital bed and tried to get my sister outta her during labor by sitting on her belly. Wtf. My Mom always pulls the, "well I gave you guys that stuff when you were babies and you're fine" or "I ate that during pregnancy and you guys are fine" Bugs the heck outta me. She's getting better now that she knows I dont care how she parented, its not going to change my mind.

Otherwise known as jaundice my LO looked like he was from a Greek Island for weeks after he was born due to prolonged jaundice and I certainly didn't sit in the sun as I am pasty and freckly and burn easy

I admire the fact you're teaching her manners early and also teaching her not to be a lightweight, she'll be able to handle it much better when she hits teen years

Seriously?! Why on earth would you give a baby booze?

Sometimes our parent's generation have ridiculous ideas about feeding babies. When DD was 4.5 months FIL fed her some of DS's weetabix made with cow's milk, we weren't there at the time. I was livid as I was waiting as close to 6 months as possible before weaning. Not to mention the wheat or cow's milk being no-no's. A few days ago my dad apparently let DD lick gravy off roast beef when I was out of the room!
