My daughter was over 2 years old before she sttn. Obv solids made zero difference.

I think it's just something that has to click. As Sophie would take 2 feeds one night and the next night she slept through 11 hours. She's done that for a month now.

So she probably wasn't hungry when taking the feeds, but it helped her sleep so I'm fine with that she had them.

When she figured out how to settle herself when she briefly woke she mastered the sleeping thing. There was no point trying to 'force' her before she was ready because it only would've resulted in lots of crying and upset.

Don't get me wrong, I was tired from being up 3 times a night, but it doesn't last forever!
