This thread is making me feel very lucky to have my dh. He works all day- before he goes
To work he gives rel her bottle and breakfast, then he comes home and takes over looking after rel at about half 6 and I go off and have a bath, read knit a little bit. Then I read her story and put her to bed about 8
He sounds just like mine, we are very lucky to have such great OH's
my dh doesnt even feed her v often or change nappies- hes self employed so is never really not working but it does make feel like if we could have another baby im not sure i could cope with the workload after a c section of 2 lo
he loves her v much and loves to chat to her and does every bath time with me but hes just an old fashioned sort of dad it seems - i think as she gets older he'll come into his own
I'm currently on maternity leave and my son is 3 months old. My OH thinks I'm being unreasonable for wanting some time on my own,i can't remember the last time i had a nice long bath to unwind. My OH only works parttime so only works 16 hours a week, he goes out twice a month and goes out any time he likes but whines at me when i ask to have a lay in because I've been up with my LO in the night while he's been in bed.
My son is my life and i wouldn't have it any other way but am i really being that unreasonable?
My sister takes LO for the afternoon on a friday so i can get my nails etc done, im still me not just "mum", and if im happy LO is happier too.
