I never stopped. I was going for my walks everyday, shopping, and still going to work all the way up until the birth.

This usually only happens in the movies. It's really nothing like that. Contractions can actually start days before you give birth. I was floored when they told us at our birthing class that once you go into labour you should start walking, and doing exercise to progress labour. Also you can't go to the hospital until your contractions are close together and they advise you that once you start feeling contractions the best thing to do is lay down and take a nap hehe. So there's not much to worry about, labour is sloooooowwwww.

I was wandering round Tesco while I was in labour! I didn't realise I was having contractions, thought I was just constipated! 10 hours later my baby was here 3 days early

In the lead up to birth I think I went out the week before but in the few days before LO was born I stayed at home. I had lots of hip pain, was v.tired &I just wanted to relax in the garden in the sunshine. I'm glad I did though.

I didnt stop at all, but I had bags of energy and a great pregnancy so I didnt want to. Still went out to the pub (not drinking of course) until about 39 weeks and shopped right up until the day I went into labour

I never stopped going out by myself. I worked full time up until the day before I went into hospital in both my pregnancies too.

I never stopped. Took the car in for an MOT at 40+4! Always had my phone on me though.
