Rude people

I went out with my mom today and LO fell asleep so i decided to just wait in the car. While i was waiting i saw someone put a cart right next to the my moms car. Yes it was against a pole but still seems disrespectful. So i opened my door enough to stick my head out and give the stink eye but i didnt say anything. I really wanted to but its not worth it you never know whose crazy enough to smash a window or even hurt me which pre LO i would have been up for a fight but now i dont get involved i am all he has (excluding my mom and sisters) do you know what i mean by that?

Totally understand! A lot of things that I would have gotten verbal about I just let slide (as long as nobody physically tries me) having my LO and knowing that he needs me makes it not worth the trouble.

You'd hate me, lol. I've done that before. Usually when the return cart area is far away and I've already packed my children in the car and I don't want to leave them. (My four year old unbuckles himself and runs after me.)

You know what winds me up though? When in a parking lot, people stop and hold up all other traffic in the lot because they see someone getting into their car because their spot is closer and they don't want to walk far to get into the store. Seriously, it's more walking getting back to the end of the store to get milk than it is parking in a lot of the already open spots.

Drives me mad!

Oh my. I've done that before too with the cart. Same reason as Andella mentioned. It's kind of hard when the cart return is far away and you've got small kids in your car.

Oh, the other day we were at walmart and when we came out, there was a big pickup parked right next to us - over the line. And the people were still inside and they had a baby in the backseat in a carrier. DH tried to put our boy in, but he couldn't even open the driver's side door. The people just sat there and watched us struggle. So DH had to back out of the parking space while I stood there with baby & DS to wait. After he backed out, the other people finally got out of their vehicle. They were waiting for US to move when they were the ones that parked next to us and over the line!

Hm...no, they were thinking. About how they didn't want to have to move due to their crappy parking job, lol.

I'm sorry but I am trying to figure out what the huge issue was with this? The cart was next to you, ok? It's not like they hit the car with it. Dunno maybe just me but don't see why this is a big deal.
