That's weird to me! I mean I know guys are supposedly wired differently but getting ya rocks off can surely wait till your newborn is not lying right next to you!!! Bassinet Moses basket than ok, but there has to be a line drawn.

As the other ladies have said in the same bed absolutely no way would I think that's ok. I'm not a prude at all but there's a massive difference to a cot next to you than on the same mattress. As disgusting as it sounds what if the baby got 'fluids' on it, I know most men have quite a long explosive aim.
Would this woman be ok with her oh doing it when the baby is older?

If its a newborn and baby is asleep and at the other end of the bed, I don't think it's intrinsically creepy. Baby won't have a clue what's going on and I think unless you're suggesting that daddy likes baby to be there (which would of course be creepy but is a VERY big jump from just not minding them there), I don't see it much different than having sex with baby there. But yeah, definitely not with an older one.

Not sure I could get aroused with a babe in the bed right next to me. Don't know how he can.

I used to have enough trouble with LO is his cot in the room but we only did it while he was asleep and his safety bumper prevented him seeing out anyway.

It just seems a bit creepy to me and I'm no prude.

well Im glad to know Im not the only one who is weirded out by it. No I dont think she ment that he gets off on his kid being there- thats just plain sick!! But she kinda laughed about it while I was still picking my jaw up off the floor!!

I would KILL my OH if he ever did anything like that in the same bed as my baby.. Weather shes aware of it or not its still gross IMO

however whilst I don't think its creepy (unless he did have seedy intentions / thoughts), I do think its disrespectful to his child. Would he do it with his mother / sister or any other family member laid asleep in the bed next him, I doubt it so whats the difference. I know the baby won't be aware of what he's getting up to but still......
