Sophie tries to eat them, and flaps the pages about. Then she tries to rip them apart .
It's great fun!

I read to Lane at least once a day. I sit her on my lap in the rocking chair and read her a brightly colored Disney book. Sometimes she stares at the pictures, sometimes she looks anywhere but at the book, but I read until she starts to fuss.

My LO loves books he will sit and look at the book and you as you read, he has always loved them since i started reading to him at about5/6 months the only problem is he throws a complete tantrum when you finish reading it!

mine has loved watching in a book from the start, i think she was 2/3 months when we could read a book with her.

that didn't last though, she's miss superactive and untill recently she didn't have time for books anymore.

she love her books again now, is "talking" while flipping through it, pointing at the things in it,... she can really sit there and be busy with that for quite some time

Mine concentrates for ten seconds before deciding it's more fun to throw the book around, slap it and squeal/shout at it lol...

I laughed when I read your post because my LO does exactly the same. We read to/with her everyday as she grabs, wriggles, tries to throw & will do anything to get the books into her mouth (soft or hard pages). I've no idea what she really thinks but we tell ourselves that she loves books & that's why she's so affectionate with them!!!

Sophia has always loved looking at books and letting us read them to her. We started when she was just a few weeks old.
