Are we talking room thermometers or body thermometers? (sorry for being thick lol)

Room thermometer - there's one built into my baby monitor which is great
Body thermometer - I use a tommee tippee one that came in a grooming set. It goes under the armpit. I must admit it is a bit of a faf on as you have to get the baby to hold still for something like 30 seconds for it to work.

Wall thermometer was a cheapo one from mothercare, which we put on the wall in the living room....

Baby thermometer is an under the arm one from tesco as they recommended that when we brought LO home from the hospital....

best wishes

Oh I definitely wouldn't go for an ear or rectal one, its bad enough keeping them still long enough to stick a thermometer under their arm, imagine how much they'd squirm about with one in their butt

We bought a tommee tippee ear one as it was down a tenner to £25 at Tesco. I love it so far, just pop it in the ear quickly and with one press of the button you get the reading.
My opinion was that it must be one of the best ways to get temperatures as that is how the doctors and hospitals take them. That's just my opinion tho x x

We got a temporal one and I love it! It seems accurate as it gets the room temperature spot on if you run it in the air.. lol. And babies (and our own) temperature is always with in a 10th of a degree if you run it multiple times. It takes half a second on her forehead and doesn't disturb her a bit!

This is the one I have: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Exergen-Te...ometer/3936091
