Is it sooo wrong?!?

Hi everyone over the weekend I hava had a couple of comments about my LO sleeping habits which have got me thinking is it really that unusual

Jamie goes to bed at 6.30pm - we have a nice bedtime routine and he has a 7oz bottle then goes to bed drowsy but not asleep and stays there till 3/4am when he will wake we offer another feed and he goes back down till 5/6am

This means he sleeps for between 8.5 to 9.5 hours straight which i thought was really good (he is 8 months old nearly 9 months) but I've been told he shouldn't be waking for that feed he shouldn't need it and I should just offer water if he wakes

The early mornings seems to bother people too not sure why when it's me that has to get up lol I get comments of he should be sleeping till at least 7am we have tried putting him to bed a little later but he still wakes at 3/4 and gets up at 5/6 but would wake up grumpy so put it back to 6:30 as he wakes happy then

In my head I know what I'm doing isn't wrong or bad for my child but certain peoples comments are pulling my heart strings and making me feel like I should be doing something different
Please can someone put my mind to rest

No its not wrong atall!! Its actually a pretty good routine. Lots of babies at 8 months still wake in the night for a bottle. That fact that he has 8 hrs a night is really good, 6am would be better than 5am for a wake up but he'll gradually sleep later and like you say, if you dont mind, why do they. Tell them it works very well for you and to butt out!! Lol. Xx

I don't know why I listen to them I wish I trusted myself about more to be honest as I know he is doing well I fact he is perfect (although I am very biased lol)

most babies at 8 months r weaned n shudnt be havin that night feed or wakin at all, BUT thats a statistic!! If this is what is normal for your LB then its right dont listen to other people as they dont live ur life. If it doesnt bother u it shudnt bother them xx

My LO had a night bottle until she was 12.5 months - she'll often still wake hungry around 5-6am like this morning where she had a bottle at 5.30am and slept til 7am.

Your routine sounds fine hun, ignore the ones saying you shouldn't do this & that and just do whatever works for you & your LO. x
