new mummy questions xx

Hello I am a new mummy and have a few questions.

When did you breastfed baby settle into a routine?

When should I expect the baby to sleep through? I'm obviously not expecting this any time soon I just want to be aware so im not panicking that she hasnt woken up for a feed ! lol

xx

I didnt get my LO into any sort of routine till 3mths+ as it was so hectic and LO didnt know the difference between day/night yet.
I only BFd for 3wks so cant really answer in that sense!

I never woke LO to feed, if he was hungry he would wake up As fot STTN my LO has only strated to in the last 2 weeks Its been a long 10mths!

He didn't settle until I started sleeping with him. He's been breastfeeding for 9 weeks now. The first month was so hard. I was sleep deprived and he got up every 1-2 hours in the night to eat and ate 45 minutes everytime. He just was not a good sleeper. Around 6 weeks I started putting him in the bed and we have had alot more sleep (thankgod! ) He still eats every 2 hours in the day time and only takes a few short naps. But at night time im not sure how often he eats, since he eats while I sleep. But we sleep from 10:30pm-8 or 9am.
The first couple weeks babies are tired and not to let them go longer than 3-4 hours between feeds at night. But I would say around 3-4 weeks I would let them sleep as long as they would.

Ehh... I'd say his eating/sleeping schedule became predictable at around 10 weeks. He's been sleeping through reliably since 7 weeks. But both of those vary widely between babies
