Does calpol helped your teething baby?

I can see 2 teeth coming, and lo is miserable! But it looks like calpol doesn't help him. Is it possible that calpol doesn't help his pain, or are we dealing with another Wonder week here (37)?

I've used calpol when its been really bad, and its always seemed to help. The rest of the time I use sachets of teething powder.

Purapura, is it time for another wonder week already? our LOs always seem to get them at the same time lol and mine's been REALLY grumpy the past 2 days

Calpol does work for Louis and it helps him go to sleep straightaway but it's not as effective as ibuprofen which provides longer lasting pain relief, I've found. x

Gah, so that's why then! I keep losing track of how many weeks she is so the wonder weeks keep taking me by surprise

I've been filling her up with teething powders thinking it must be her teeth, poor little bub!

Well my boy is actually teething. He has a tooth cutting trough. He is a nightmare at the moment. Nights and days!

Actual teeth cutting is horrendous isn't it?! Calprofen (ibuprofen) seems to help some, along with anbesol. Tbh though, he had about 4-5night of just screaming when his two bottom ones were coming
