Wish us luck :o) Bye bye dummy/pacifier

So my LO woke about 20 times last night when her dummy dropped out so today I decided to take it away - Her first nap took about 30 minutes of cuddling and crying, 2nd nap took about 5 minutes of whinging and shes going to be going to bed very soon and im praying for a good night from her - Any tips if she does wake up? I dont want to lose my resolve and give it to her but I will be quite unsure of how to comfort her as normally she just wants her dummy and thats the job done xx

I don't have any tips but good luck! My lo is 6.5 months and still has hers, we don't have to pop it in at night so often any more (thank god!) x

I tried to stop my LO having his dummy when he was 6 or 7 months, but i caved lol, but i dont have to worry about giving it back to him when it falls out, he just finds it and goes back to sleep

Thanks all - It all seems to be going quite well at the moment, yeah she has a little cry but she doesnt seem overly bothered She had a 5 minute whinge again this morning before she dropped off so if she carries on like that its gone for good Would rather get it gone now than carry on getting up every 20 mins, yeah its hard work listening to her cry but she slept for 7 and a half hours last night without crying so I know its best for her xxx
