Did your baby change its name?

Just thinking about it - I have a few names picked out for baby. But I wonder if baby will change his/her name once I see him/her in person. I've heard of this happening, where mommy had a name picked out but once baby was actually here a completely new name came out of the clear blue.

Has this happened to you?

This personally hasn't happened to me, but while I was pregnant with DD, I had planned on taking 2 names with me to the hospital so that after I see her I could decide what she looked like most.

I named my DD Nora, and she is definitely a Nora

We changed his middle name once he was born we originally had Frankie Dean but changed it to Frankie Ryan x

This happened to me! All through pregnancy I was set on the name Jayden Isaac for my little boy, as soon as we saw him he was NOT a Jayden and we chose the name Aaron

Kind of, her name was always Edie and her full name was going to be Eden but I chose Edith instead.

yes with my first id picked the name Keyona but when she was born i said Carla it just came to me and fitted her perfectly. Keyona stayed top of the list so was happy when my second daughter was born and i was sure that was her name. (we are rubbish with picking boy names) this time round if we have a girl the name picked out is Sophia lauren shelby morrison the lauren and shelby being middle names after my sisters. Boy names so far are joshua, kaleb, eithan. xx
