me and the oh have finally found a name we like as much as Isabella and its predicted by that nameberry site to be in the top ten!
it has never made the top ten before so its just typical that it is now.
the name is Imogen

Its so annoying!
Makes me wonder if Isabella is even going to stay popular & whether we would be better off sticking to our original decision.

I think the only reason why its the top name bored now, is 1) because it is a cute name, and 2) because of Degrassi TV show lol.. Honestly, I dont know a single person that has named their kid it, and to be honest, I dont think i know a single person with the name.

USE it, its cute

if u like it stick with it.

Ive never heard of that tv show haha. & i know of one other Imogen shes nearly 3 i think. Ever since i was little i always wanted Imogen & Isobelle as i like Immy & Izzy together lol. & even now they're the only girls names i seem to like.
Such a hard decision! I know that Isabella is more liked by people as when i say Imogen to some people they don't have much of an opinion.
I hope it doesn't become too popular though!

I love the name Imogen [its my friends name] and it would of been my choice for a girls name but OH doesn't like it

Isabella is popular here, I've heard at least 4 babies with that name only in the past few months.

But if you like the name go for it. Anyway, the nickname of Izzy is really cute and I've not heard that name at all.

I personally try to avoid using any names in the first three slots on any popular top ten sites for one reason. I was a top baby name person.

I was born in the early 80's and was cursed with the name AMANDA. I went to school and always had at least 3 other Amanda's in my class. I hated being Amanda A. Hence why I go by Mandy in my adult life.

I can't see Imogen becoming overly popular but someone did say that there was a tv show that had a character with the name and that's usually which spawns popular names.

With my son, for the longest time we were going to go with Edward...then the Twilight thing happened. What is funnier is that if my girlfriend had a girl, she was going to use Anabelle and call her Bella. That would have been really annoying.

I will say this though, if you like it and your hubby likes it it doesn't matter if it's popular but I was just giving my two cents on someone that had to live with not having a one of a kind name.
