Stella?

So my DH asked me about this name today.. and I think I love it... which is weird b/c I havent really liked many girl names.

My question is this... is it popular? Do you like it?

I dont think its that popular..i like it its really pretty!

Yes I love it.

In terms of popularity (not sure where you are), in 2010, according to Office of National Statistics (England and Wales) it was number 372 on the baby girl list, with 122 babies named this for that year. So not popular, no.

I think I really like it. I also love Stella Rose, but dh has a lot of roses in his family so he doesnt want to use a family name...

But I was thinking Stella Leigh or Stella Elise

Im not a huge fan of the name, but then Im not into those sorts of names.

A cousin has just called her daughter Stella (with middle name Debbie), she is named after her nan. Until this, I hadn't heard of it being used nowadays.

I don't know why, but I always used to associate this name with someone arrogant...i didn't like the name...then I met a girl named Stella and she is an AMAZING person and ever since then I adore this name!
I think it's really really pretty and not at all popular as far as I know.
Actually had it in mind for my baby too if it's a girl =)
