I have decided i am going to keep it as a middle name as i would never forgive myself if she got bullied for a name i had given her or if she grows up to be a tomboy then Blossom isn't the best of names.
Personally I love the name Blossom Rose, especially because it's a family name!
And about the bullying I hate to say this but no matter what you name your child there is the possibility of that. This is coming from someone who was called Lezzy and Lezbo for a few years in middle school (my name is Leslie) My poor mother had no idea that anyone would call me that! I know other Leslie's who never went through that, it really just depends on the group of kids your child is going to school with.
And as far as the tomboy concern, I think you run the same risk calling her Rose or Rosa as both of those names are very feminine as well. Plus if she's a tomboy and doesnt wanna be called Blossom, you could call her B which I think is really fun!
