Albie is what is on his birth cert but its the up to date version of Albert which my grandad was called :0)
My great grandad was Albert and my great nan used to call him Albie....we've been considering it for a boys name! How did people react to the name?

we had Archie and Albie on the list and most people said they liked Archie best but when we annoced that he was called Albie everyone loved it....we have only had one bad comment. OH was at work and one of the girls said congrats on your baby boy what did you name him....OH replied Albie and she burst out laughing saying yeah good joke what did you really call him and he said he wasnt joking and she just said oh! but thats the only one....a few peoplw have thought i have said Alfie when saying his name thou
