Keir - opinions please

Hi,
what do you think about the name Keir for a boy? it is gaelic in origin as is our son's name. Oh likes kieron but i don't, but i quite like Keir.
Honest opinions welcome please!

Would tht be pronounced Kerr? Or K-air?
Very unique name. kieron is nice...maybe could use tht and kier would be a good nick name...then u both get what u want

You pronounce it key-er. I really don't like kieron, cos of a boy i know lol. Oh suggested Keir and he loves it. Im worried maybe its too unusual?

Oh ok lol tht helps lol i dont feel its too unusual....now knowing the correct way to say it...Kier is better than kieron...and u wouldnt want s name tht reminds u of somone u dont like lol
I think its unique in a good way.:-)

It's a lovely name, Scottish I think? Much nicer and less popular than Keiran/Keiron x If you both like it then go for it! x
